If you want to taste Shropshire's native berry, you'll either have to head for the hills in August or September. Or come to the Wimberry banquet, where we'll be celebrating Shropshire's tastiest berry.You won't find Wimberries in the shops, they're purely a wild, seasonal harvest - which makes them all the more delicious.

Bon appetit! with foraging and feasting

Join us at the Shropshire Chef kitchens at 4pm. After tea and homemade biscuits, we’ll work up appetites on the Long Mynd, finding and picking Shropshire’s purple jewel. We’ll then return to the farm, laden with tiny, tasty berries ready for a feast.

Or simply enjoy being wined and dined
At 7 pm our “dinner only guests” will join the party. Following a “Myrtille Royale” (wimberry Champagne cocktail), top chef Simon Smith will demonstrate some of the tricks of the trade, as he prepares and serves your celebratory banquet.
