How to make your own bread at home

Learning traditional breadmaking, and baking your own bread is one of the most satisfying things you can to do.
What's special about this course
Using the simplest of ingredients, including local flours from Pimhill and Becheldre Watermill, you will learn the processes, hands-on techniques, and different methods of breadmaking.
You won't use specialist machinery - just your hands, so all of the bread you make, can be easily made at home.
This course is ideal for total beginners or those who have just started to make their own bread at home.
Lunch of salads, local hams and cheeses and wine. As well as a dessert.

Recipes: you'll make a range of breads from two simple doughs, traditional wholemeal and traditional white.

•               Spelt and wholemeal bread

•               Rolls in all shapes and flavours

•               Herb and Olive Breads

What you'll learn: kneading; proving; baking; plaiting; rolling; shaping.
